Welcome to parents in the West Wales area.

This forum was set up to allow parents to discuss matters relating to schools and education in West Wales, as there seems to be currently no official forum (internet or otherwise) for this kind of discussion (and because Education Authorities and some Schools seem to prefer it that way).

Feel free to use the forums for general discussion, but also if there are specific issues where parents are unhappy with Schools or Education policies, we stand a much better chance of being heard if we speak up in sufficient numbers.

It is possible to create polls on the forums, and I'm sure we could whip up a petition or two if the need arose!

The only rules for taking part are:

• Please maintain good taste and politeness.
  
• Please do not refer to children (other than your own) or other parents by name.
  

Other than that, all opinions are welcome!


Instructions

From the Home page (which you can always get to using the "Home" link, above under the title banner), you should be looking at two forums: “Welcome”, and “General Discussion”. You click on “General Discussion”. You will then see several topics in a list.

You can click on one of the topics already started, read what people have to say, and then, if you want to reply on the topic yourself, click on the “Post Reply” button above the frame: type a title in the title box, and type what you want to say in the big box below.

OR you can click on the “New Topic” button above the Topics frame if you want to start a new topic of discussion: give it a title in the title box, and type what you want to say in the big box below.
